Relics of Noksonon

Some treasures are better left buried…

Godsblighted. That’s what the villagers call her.

Even within her family’s protection, Rowan has always known she was different. But now she has the chance to prove that she can protect herself. The chance to prove that different doesn’t mean cursed. Leaving behind the broken promise of her failed magic, Rowan joins her mentor in his search for a Giant’s artifact known as the Grief Draw. But finding it only adds to her problems. Because the ancient Giants were right. This lantern brings pain.

Rowan’s magic might be the barest spark, but it is enough to connect her to Gavyn, a young man trapped inside the lantern after a failed attempt to destroy it. He is suddenly Rowan’s only hope for understanding the lantern before it kills again. And she is his only hope for freedom. With fanatic treasure hunters and power-hungry lords closing in, Rowan and Gavyn must figure out how to use the lantern before someone else sets off the weapon even the Giants feared.

Some lies can’t be untold…

As the victim of a magical experiment, Bex now uses her skills as a treasure hunter to keep herself and her sister safe from those who would use them. She’s learned to use everything from little lies and manipulations to the spell branded into her palm. But her sister is dying. The trinkets and spells Bex hunts down for her aren’t enough anymore. Bex needs to find something bigger. But bigger treasures come with bigger risks. And bigger lies.

Rowan might be considered the foremost expert on Giant artifacts now her mentor is dead, but she’s hidden herself away to protect the world from the Grief Draw, a powerful lantern that destroys anyone who touches it. Nothing can convince her to abandon that duty. Until a charismatic treasure hunter tracks her down and tells her she’s needed to find another dangerous artifact. Rowan isn’t prepared for a trip to the distant isle of Taur, and something seems off about Bex’s story. But can she afford to say no when Humanity’s chances against the Giants might be the truth between Bex’s lies?

The search will take all of Bex’s cunning and Rowan’s expertise as well as a deep trust between them. But can trust be earned when Giant magic is involved?

Some killers aren’t born. They’re made.

Rowan and Bex have been through the noktum and come out the other side stronger. They work directly for the queen, searching for Giant artifacts to help Humanity. But all of their wit and skills are tested when darkness descends across the entire continent of Noksonon. It's the beginning of a war that the Humans can't win. All they can do is survive. Luckily Rowan still carries the Grief Draw, a lantern that can push back the darkness and keep a small scrap of Humanity alive in the dark.

But when a Giant out of legend comes after the Grief Draw--and anyone who has ever held it--Rowan and Bex must lead their friends and families across the continent to keep them safe. Their only hope lies in Tera, the companion they left behind on their last dig. She is a fighter and the only one among them they would trust to face a Giant. And she has ties to a legendary weapon, a final artifact hidden in a stronghold that might keep them safe.

They just have to find Tera, rescue her, and make her into a Giant killer.
